"You Come" takes a step off the path of David & Valerie's signature sound, creating a near post-rock anthem with influences from Band of Horses and Mumford & Sons' Wilder Mind. The production keeps the electric side of things sleeping during the verses so the songwriting can lead the listener, and the melodic choruses dive deep.
